page 17- "Because we were new to this country, we were impressed not just by the big attractions but also by the little things- smiling, employees, clean bathrooms, and clear signage." When I read this I though about how many big attractions we have in America, like Disney World, Sea World, Animal Kingdom ex. I had never realized it before, but we have lot's of big magical things we are not all grateful for.
page 19- "One of my father's biggest fears in moving to America was child kidnapping." This a serious problem in America many children are taken away from their homes and families and never seen again, this doesn't really happen in many other countries. Sure there are violence in other countries, but it isn't where people abduct children.
